HEARS A STRANGE VOICE Strains of Weird Music, Too, Come to Him as He Visits Scenes Familiar to the Artist.” A man claimed he was possessed and compelled to carry on the work. This dead man. Was Robert Swain Gifford and the man possessed was Fredric Thompson.
